On June 20-21, 2026, the well-known JaredFromSubway.eth MEV sandwich bot was exploited through a counter-MEV honeypot trap. The attacker drained 1,474.58 WETH, 2.87M USDC, and approximately 2M USDT, with on-chain confirmed losses of ~$7.5M (the attacker claimed ~$15M). Portions of the stolen funds were routed through Tornado Cash.
