Full Description

On August 22, 2026, KiiChain was exploited via the shared Cosmos EVM underflow bug (GHSA-7g4w-cg88-2cq2) that also affected MANTRA and TAC. The attacker drained approximately 148.3M KII (~$9.7M). The chain was halted in response. Approximately 54.4% of the stolen funds remained frozen on-chain, while the remainder was bridged to BNB Chain and sold.

Laundering Analysis

The remainder of the stolen KII (beyond the ~54.4% frozen on-chain) was bridged to BNB Chain and sold through decentralized and centralized exchanges.
